Libra Season

Whether you believe in astrology or not it’s just kinda fun to learn about. I am personally so fascinated by our world beyond the 100 feet (or however high the tallest skyscraper is) above our heads. Like clouds and their association with dreaming. Stars and how they communicate life lessons. The way the world spins. The moon and tides in the ocean. There are so many connections we can draw between our physical world, the one with interact with day in and day out, and what we can’t touch but know is there, like the moon or the stars.

So here’s my understanding of the astrological season we’re going into. This comes from various yoga classes, workshops, and research I’ve done to learn a little. Libra season is about relationships. With others and with yourself. We are coming out of a retrograde season and straight into eclipse season which means that the world decided it was time for you to deal with some uncomfortable stuff buried inside. Either it was a time of reflection and you were able to see the change you wanted to make yourself, or the universe decided to give you a shove and make you deal with it. I honestly feel like I was the combination of the two, definitely had my fair share of realizations but also felt like I was pushed off a cliff and told to fly. Sounds dramatic, perhaps. But in the moment it felt so intense and like I couldn’t stand on my own two feet. However, here we are, still in one piece, moving through eclipse season. Which, for me, is starting to feel like I am finding the right path. My biggest lesson of the last few months has been, the world is not happening to us, but for us. Each experience, good and bad, has a purpose and a lesson embedded in it. It is up to us as people to decide if we want to do something, make a change, hold yourself differently, as a result. The world is constantly teaching us, which is the real reason we are all life long learners. We will never know everything about everything because the world impermanent. And how we can live in a world where things are constantly changing is by making peace and being happy with the one constant, ourselves.
